Two, Three, Five or Six Axes of Positioning

Our new LP Series Lens Positioners provide an economical solution for applications requiring two (XY), three (XYZ or XYθZ), five (XYZ θXθY), or six (XYZ θXθYθZ) axes of precision adjustment. They all feature

  • Multi-axis precision adjustment in a space-saving geometry
  • Hex-key adjuster to prevent unintended adjustment
  • All axes lockable for added long-term stability
  • Keying pin holes for OEM applications
  • Dual mounting holes for left- or right-handed configurations

Lockable Hex-Key Adjusters

The LP Series Lens Positioners use hex-key adjusters to save space and prevent unintended adjustments. Independent locks for each axis securely lock the adjustment screws, maintaining stable optical alignment. The adjuster and its lock feature the same sized hex oriented in the same direction, therefore can be conveniently accessed and actuated by the same hex tool (shown here is hex adjustment knob HX.078-2M-PK).

Alignment Pin Holes

Designed with OEM applications in mind, these lens positioners include alignment pin holes adjacent to mounting holes. These dowel pin holes enable keying of the position and orientation for repeatable system integration and to prevent clocking effects. (Note: Dowel pins are not included with the mount.)

Compatible with Lens Tube System

Besides holding 0.5, 1.0, or 2.0 in. diameter optic with included retaining rings, the LP Series Lens Positioners are also directly compatible with optomechanical components with SM05 (0.535"-40), SM1 (1.035"-40), or SM2 (2.035"-40) threads. Shown are the LP5X positioners attaching LT Series Lens Tubes.

Compatible with Beamsplitters Holders

New BSP025 and BSP05 beamsplitter holders can directly thread into LP-1H positioners to hold 0.25 and 0.5 in. cube beamsplitters. To mount a 1.0 in. beamsplitter, two adapters LT20-LX and LT-20-BS1 are needed to attach the CH-1 holder to an LP-2H positioner.

Compatible with Microscope Objectives

With LT10-RMS-N RMS to SM1 thread adapter, the LP-1H lens positioners can hold any microscope objective lens with standard RMS (0.800"-36) thread.
