The articulated ball and socket jointed optical post heads provide a simple method of adjusting a mounting surface within a large range. They are adjustable throughout a 50° cone. Three-cutout design allows extended adjustment to horizontal position at these three directions. A single locking screw provides superior locking force and enables easy locking and unlocking.

These post heads feature matching threaded holes at the tip and in the bottom for attaching opto-mechanical components. They are offered in both a small size (8/32, M4) for 0.5 and 0.7 in. optical posts and pedestals and a large size (1/4-20, M6) for 1.0 in. pedestals.
