Digital Exposure System, Research Lamp Sources

The 68950 is a Digital Exposure System for Research Lamp Sources. The system is a light intensity controller and digital timer in one. The light intensity controller maintains a constant light output level from an arc, deuterium, or quartz tungsten halogen lamp, whereas the digital timer enables timed exposures and dose control. RS-232 communications allow for computer controlled operation.

The light intensity controller and digital timer functionality is programmed by the Digital Exposure Controller (DEC) model 68945 and is connected directly to a power supply. The large LED readout on the front panel displays timer and light intensity controller (LIC) information.

The system consists of the following:

• 70043 Specialty Connector cable

An adapter kit is required to mount the Si detector head directly to a research or Q series lamp housing, sold separately.
