These plates can be used to adapt between English and Metric unit mounting, off-pattern mounting to optical tables, or simply to increase the available area for mounting components.

UP-1A Universal Mounting Plates

The UP-1A Universal Mounting Plate utilizes our patented rotating slot concept to offer a dense array of mounting holes, in any orientation, to your optical table or setup. This 65 mm x 65 mm (2.56 in. x 2.56 in) plate makes it simple to mount components and stages off the table hole pattern and sits just 12.7 mm (0.5 in.) high. This plate is offered with either 1/4-20 or M6 (Model M-UP-1A) threaded holes making it useful to adapt metric components to an English table, or vice versa. The plate is bolted to the table with a standard 1/4-20 (M6) cap head screw.

410-RCP Mounting Plate and 20050-01 Base Plate

410-RCP Mounting Plate and 20050-01 Base Plate are designed for the Dual Rod Mounting Assembly. With a standard pattern of 1/4-20 threaded holes in 1.0 in. grid, 410-RCP can be used as a breadboard to virtually mount any component.

Model 38 Mounting Plate

The Model 38 Platform is an anodized aluminum plate with an array of threaded 1/4-20 holes in 1-in. and 0.5-in. hole patterns, along with counter bored through holes, on its 3.0 in. x 5.0 in. surface (76.2 mm x 127 mm). This adaptor plate is particularly useful for mounting English components on to a metric optical table, or to provide a larger mounting surface to smaller stages or base plates. The model 38 is made from black anodized aluminum alloy. If a larger mounting platform is needed, we suggest using Model 290-TP. Model 39 is an adjustable version of this platform which is also available.

290 Versatile Mounting Plates

Model 290-TP mounting plate has an array of tapped and clearance mounting holes for attaching components. 290-BP base plate has two rows of clearance holes for tie-down to tables or magnetic bases. Both are used in Fixed Height Platforms assembly as top and base plates.
