Product Series Overview
Double Jointed Optical Post HeadsThe DJP-1, Double-Jointed Utility Post, made with genuine parts from RAM Mounts®, allows positioning flexibility for post mounting of various mechanical and optical devices. It has two ball-and-socket arms, each having 180° rotation, to provide a full 360° of angular positioning. A single locking knob secures the double-jointed post in position. The DJP-1 has the same mounting thread configuration as Newport's standard SP-series 1/2 in. diameter posts, i.e., 8-32 on one end and 1/4-20 on the other. This enables it to be used with all of the 1/2 in. post accessories such as post holders, clamps, and spacers. The DJP-1 is an excellent, low-cost accessory for the lab for those times when you need non-standard mounting options for your research or production setup.
