Linear Actuator, DC Servo, 25 mm Travel, TRB25CC and CONEX-CC Controller

CONEX-TRB25CC is a compact DC servo actuator integrated with a CONEX-CC controller that provides 25 mm travel in a slim, 16 mm diameter housing, and is recommended for motorizing 561 series linear stages, and 481 and RS65 rotation stages. TRB actuators can replace micrometers which are used in a wide variety of linear stages, mirror mounts, and OEM applications.

The CONEX^™ controller comes with a simple and intuitive GUI and is conveniently accessible via USB. It comes with a USB cable and al CONEX-PS-CB for daisy-chaining modules. The power supply is ordered separately. For OEM applications, an optional retainer to secure the USB and power cables is available.

TRB DC Servo Actuators

TRB linear actuators offer mid-range load capacity with a wide range of travel and motor choices. They can easily motorize manual positioners and mirror mounts with flexible cable routing and a non-reflective surface coating. TRB actuators feature a lim, light-weight design that allows them to be used in compact spaces in a variety of applications, a hard-coated steel ball tip that minimizes wear on the contact surface when compared to other designs using regular steel ball tips, and integrated optical limit switches to protect your investment from over travel damage.

Compact DC Servo Motion Controller

In terms of size, the CONEX-CC motion controller is comparable to a deck of cards. Up to six CONEX-CC controllers can fit on a CONEX-BP baseplate. Both controller and stage are compact and ideal for space-confined or access-limited applications. The low-noise linear amplifier of the CONEX-CC provides the optimum drive solution for low-power DC motors. It delivers smooth motion, with less electrical noise and significantly less motor heating.

Out-of-the-box PC Control

For out-of-the box control, the CONEX controller is preconfigured and delivered with the motion device. To start moving a sample or sensor, it simply requires plugging in the power supply, connecting the USB communication and starting the free motion GUI. The integrated USB interface, provides a fast ubiquitous communication protocol. For OEM's or security sensitive applications, RS-232 and RS-485 communications are embedded onto the CONEX controller.

Simple Programming with Extensive Language Options

Advanced application programming is simplified by using mnemonic ASCII commands. Newport provides a free GUI that allows the user to access and execute over 60 intuitive ASCII commands. A managed Microsoft .NET assembly (DLL) is provided for programming custom applications in C#, Labview, Matlab, Python and other .NET compatible languages.
