Fiber Optic Bundle, Bifurcated, Glass, 0.55 NA

The 77533 Bifurcated Fiber Optic Bundle is comb randomized to produce evenly divided outputs. When light is uniformly focused onto the large unified 0.55 NA input, each leg of a bifurcated bundle receives 43% of the total incident energy (approximately 4% is reflected at the input and output and packing fraction is 0.9). The cable is sheathed in stainless steel and is rated to 107°C [225°F]. Individual fibers are .05 mm diameter [.002 inch]. Minimum bend radius is 50 mm [2 inch] for each leg.
Note: these bundles are sensitive to position changes. Changing the position of the common end or either leg will change the output beam distribution and power. Try to avoid movement of the bundle during a measurement.
