DM Thread-Mount Differential Micrometer Heads
The DM differential micrometers provide sub-micron positioning capabilities and up to 25 mm coarse travel in a single device. They employ the same mounting bezel as our standard BM micrometer heads, so they may be used to upgrade stages and mounts for improvement in resolution.

Features
Highly Sensitive Differential Micrometer
The DM series differential micrometers provide ultra-fine, sub-micron positioning capabilities and coarse, long travel adjustments in a single device. In essence, the DM series micrometers are standard micrometers with a 0.05 mm pitch high-resolution micrometer built around it. Coarse positioning, provided by the control knob at the end enables rapid translation with a sensitivity of 1 μm. Then, by using the fine adjustment knob closest to the positioner, the position can be further optimized with a sensitivity of 0.1 μm over a limited travel range.
