USFW-100 Universal Filter Wheel

Oriel’s USFW-100 Universal Standalone Filter Wheel is an excellent choice where a standalone filter wheel or direct drop-in replacement for any previous model Oriel filter wheels is required. For standalone operation, metric and imperial threaded holes allow for rod mounting with Newport’s line of optical post mounting hardware.The filter wheel is equipped with Oriel’s standard 1.5 inch flange for compatibility with all Oriel monochromators, spectrographs, APEX2 light sources, and Tunable Light Sources. Up to six 1-inch diameter filters can be installed and accessed with an adjacent filter transition time of less than 1.0 s. Each filter wheel position is rotated to a positional accuracy or repeatability of 0.5˚. The filter wheel is easily controllable by its manual pushbutton switch, or any existing Oriel monochromator or spectrograph software.Standalone PC control via USB 2.0 is also possible with the included LabVIEW(TM) based All-Wheel Drive Filter Wheel Utility Software. This new software enables filter labeling for easy recall and saving of frequently used filter sequences and durations, among other features.

These sleek, high performance power supplies are capable of operating a lamp in constant power, current, and intensity modes with the high stability, low ripple light output typically required for radiometric measurement.
