Laser Diode Module AccessoriesThe LPMS-5-110 Laser Diode Module Power Supply must be used for LPM/LQx Series diode modules to meet CDRH requirements. It provides an interlock input, key enable switch, delayed start-up, and laser active indicator. This 110 VAC input, 5 VDC output supply is used for laser wavelengths above 600 nm.
Power Supplies for CDRH Compliance
The LPMS Series Power Supplies are more than just power supplies. This is a key instrument that will make Newport's LPM/LQC CW laser diode modules and LQA/LQD modulated laser diode modules CDRH-compliant. It provides an interlock input, key enable switch, delayed start-up, and laser active indicator. LPMS-8-110 is used for laser wavelengths below 600 nm. LPMS-5-110 or LPMS-5-220 are used for wavelenghts above 600 nm.
Interface Cables
Newport provides interface cables for connecting to, controlling and powering laser diode moduels. LQC-CAB is used with LQC CW laser diode modules, and LQA-CAB is used with LQA/LQD modulated laser diode modules.
