The LD-635-11A Fiber Coupled Laser Diode consists of Fabry-Perot lasers, having a fiber pigtail precisely attached for optimum coupling efficiency. This 635 nm center wavelength version has a typical 0.3 mW of output power and includes a back facet photodiode. It is compatible with Newport’s 710 Temperature Controlled Mount. The 4/125 μm single-mode fiber pigtail is terminated with an FC style fiber optic connector. Applications include high-speed data and telecommunications systems and instrumentation, and optical instruments requiring a laser diode light source. Backed by 30 day return-for-credit when the product is returned in the original sealed bag with no sign of physical damage. The product is highly ESD sensitive so a grounding wrist strap, like the FK-STRAP, is suggested to prevent damage. Specifications
