The F-SBB (OFS ClearLite® MICRO 820 16, P/N CF04246-03) is bend insensitive, single mode sensor grade fiber has an 820 nm cutoff wavelength and features a high NA of 0.16. It is suitable for tightly wound fiber spools for a variety of sensing applications. At 1310 nm, for example, the maximum bend induced attenuation, due to 100 fiber turns on a 10 mm mandrel, is only 0.05 dB! 80 μm cladding diameter with a 4.1 ± 0.75 μm Mode Field Diameter, this fiber is commonly used in fiber optic gyroscope assemblies or in optical fiber payout systems.
This bare fiber does not include a protective fiber jacket. Standard pricing is per meter. The following volume discount schedule is applied when ordering continuous lengths of optical fiber: 10 - 49 m: 15%, 50 - 99 m: 22%, 100 - 499 m: 25%, and ≥ 500 m: 28%.
