Mercury-Xenon Arc Lamp, 500 W
The 66142 Hg(Xe) Arc Lamp is 500 watt and has a 2.5 x 3.0 mm effective arc size. Strong mercury lines through the visible and ultraviolet dominate the output spectrum of these lamps. A continuum in the infrared persists to 2.5 μm and beyond.
Due to its intense UV spectral output profile below 400 nm, Oriel recommends wearing the necessary safety equipment such as UV protective eyewear. Safety goggles or spectacles are offered separately.
This lamp is compatible with the 66159 or 6379 Socket Adapter (not included).
