Right-Angle Prism, Precision, N-BK7, 12.7 mm, λ/4, Uncoated

The 05BR08 Precision Right-Angle Prism is precision polished to tight tolerances for more demanding applications. This uncoated N-BK7 prism is 0.5 x 0.5 inch (12.7 x 12.7 mm) and 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) thick. It has a λ/4 surface flatness and a 20-10 surface quality. It is recommended for general laboratory use. By means of total internal reflection (TIR), a right-angle prism may be used as a 90° reflector or as a 180° retroreflector. Except for reflection losses from the entry and exit faces, TIR exhibits 100% reflectivity over a very large wavelength range.
