Our bare fiber holder is a cleverly designed fiber clamp that is used to hold 250 μm bare fibers without damaging the fiber. It in turn plugs into the 818-FA2 Bare Fiber Holder Mount which allows one to attach the assembly to the front end of the detector housing.

Measure Light from Optical Fibers
The FP3-FH1 Bare Fiber Holder is a cleverly designed fiber clamp that is used to hold 250 µm bare fibers without damaging it. It directly plugs into the 918D-IS series integrating sphere-based detectors. Combined with an 818-FA2 Adapter Mount, it can also be used for any 918D and 818 series photodiode power sensors.
Bare Fiber Holder for ILX Measurement Heads
The BF-820 Bare Fiber Holder is compatible with both ILX Lightwave® and Agilent adapter rings and is designed to hold and position a common telecom fiber. Inside the BF-820, opposing V-guides facilitate correct fiber positioning. Outside, textured finger grips enable single-handed maneuvering of the fiber holder into the meter. It requires CA120 for FMH series fiber optic sensors or AO120 for OMH series power and wavelength measurement heads.
