The SR50 and PR50 compact rotation stages are designed to rotate optical components up to 1 inch in diameter such as polarizers, wave plates, or wedges. The small size allows use in confined spaces such as laser cavities, disk texturing machines, or manufacturing areas for fiber optical components. Stepper motors offer better holding torque than DC motors and can hold position with power off.

Features
SR50 Series Stages
The SR50PP stage features minimum incremental motion of 0.004° achieved in half-step mode. The open-loop stepper motor is folded inside the stage body to give an extremely small footprint for a stage at this level of precision. The stage is equipped with a hardware origin, allowing the stage to return to a reference home position to within 0.01°. It can run in continuous rotation mode. DC servo version
PR50 Series Stages
The PR50PP stages is a cost-efficient alternative to the SR50PP for applications that do not require the high-resolution and precision of the SR50, or for applications that could benefit from higher speeds up to 20°/s. This open-loop stepper motor stage features angular resolution of 0.02°, achieved in half-step mode. It is equipped with a hardware origin allowing for continuous rotation of 360°. DC servo version
